Socrative is a tool that allows teachers to create and post dynamic quizzes. These types of quizzes will allow monitoring of students as they complete the quiz. For the student, immediate feedback can help with learning a topic and studying for transfer exams. Teachers are able to provide immediate feedback and quickly see what questions are problematic for students. This allows teachers to be able to focus on troublesome concepts and re-quiz on just those topics quickly. Socrative can also attach quiz questions to K-12 curriculum standards, which will help with meeting public school promotion and retention goals.

PowToon is a great tool for creating a fun way to introduce students to concepts. The videos created using animations are engaging while still providing useful information. PowToon can be used for any age group and for any topic, complex to simple. The tool has a simple drag-n-drop interface and allows you to personalize through an interface for which you can upload your own images. You can create videos from scratch or use a template. You can also create a storyboard by creating step-by-step scenes. In the newest version of PowTown, you can also create video specifically for social media. You can share your creation through a variety of media from YouTube to Facebook.
