Blended Learning Project
The ASSURE model was is used in this project to design learning and assessment for web development using labs and projects. I was able to create an integrated model using technology in labs that students were able to use to build a combined project such as a e-commerce website. It was important for students to understand proper use of technology when discovering graphics and code for their project. Not only was I able to use the process to ensure proper use of technology but I could plan how to evaluate learner performance. Click this link to view the model.
Field Experience Video
This field experience allowed me to use knowledge learned about learning theory, graphic design principles, and the instructional design process to lead a project and provide a usable learning module for adult professionals. I completed my project in the department of computing sciences by developing a faculty on-boarding guide for the introductory programming instructors. I conducted a needs assessments and provided instructions for configuring and using a new technology, Zybooks, implemented during the Fall 2018 semester. I received feedback via survey from the faculty concerning ease of use of the guide and the Zybooks technology. The project was successful and I am currently planning an on-boarding guide for the advanced course.
